Child Care and Early Years Programs

The Akwesásne Early Years program allows AMBE to support children and families from birth to six years. The Akwesásne Early Years program is comprised of:

The Akwesásne Childcare Program which proudly supports and services 83 babies/children and their families across three licensed child care centers in Kawehno:ke, Kaná:takon, and Tsi Snaihne.

Registrations are accepted on an ongoing basis and are available for pickup at any of the centers.

The Akwesásne Zero 2 Six program is a parent drop-in program housed at AMBE Building Blocks (in the district of Kawehno:ke) with pop ups throughout the community.

The AMBE Early Years encompasses and supports K3-Headstart Classrooms with new Teaching strategies curriculum with six ever changing learning labs.

Early Years has also expanded into summer care by offering a six-week day program for working parents of children ages three through six (3-6) currently offered in two locations.
