After School Care

The Ahkwesáhsne Mohawk Board of Education is pleased of offer after school programs across the three AMBE schools for students, aged 4 to 5 years of age. It is a nurturing environment where dedicated staff ensure that every child can learn, play and grow safely and happily after school hours.

Activities Include:

• Physical movement
• Arts and Crafts
• Literature sessions
• Traditional singing and dancing with visits from members of the Native North American Travelling College throughout the year.
• A wholesome afternoon snack!

AMBE is thankful for continued community partnership. The Mohawk Council of Akwesásne's, Department of Community and Social Services (DCSS) has sponsored the Early Years After School program and the parents fee. Through this continued partnership, AMBE, MCA, and DCSS hope to ensure the safety and security for the children of working parents within the community.

Please Note: After School Programing capacity varies throughout each school. Sign up opens at the start of every school year, please check in with your child(rens) school for more information on future sign ups.
