Iohahi:io is a provincially recognized Indigenous Institute that offers the same high-quality pos-secondary education as colleges and universities.

Beyond post-secondary courses, Iohahi:io also serves the Akwesásne community with programs for alternative high school, trades training, pre-employment skills, and lifelong learning opportunities.

Post-Secondary Assistance Program

The AMBE Post-Secondary Assistance Program is here to financially assist students who wish to further their post-secondary education. The PSAP team is committed to ensuring that students receive funding so students can have a successful semester. Students are informed of all the steps that need to be taken to become eligible for the Post-Secondary Assistance Program. If students need assistance completing the application process, we are here to assist and show the proper steps.

Student Success Officers (SSO's)

Student Success Officers attend local outreach events and high schools to assist graduating students with their application process and guidance.

When a student is accepted into College/University the SSO's reach out to the student on a monthly basis to keep in touch and be able to advise the student as needed. Students are required to submit grades and schedules at the end of each semester/term. This allows for the Manager to keep up to date data that generate reports as needed. This data is also a requirement for year-end reporting to ISC.
